Wauchope Men's Vets weekly update 03.05

Wauchope Men’s Veteran Golfers

 On Tuesday 5th May the Men’s Veterans Club Championships are due to play the 1st Round, with the 2nd Round on Tuesday 12th May. If there is no more rain and carts are allowed on the course that  will happen. The contingency plan if carts are not allowed on the course is, the 1st Round will be postponed to Tuesday 12th May and 2nd Round to Tuesday 19th May. Tuesday 5th May will be a Single Stableford for the walkers and the Best 2 of 4 Stableford Multiplier will be moved to a date where there is no sponsor.

I will send out an email on Monday afternoon to give you an update on the course condition and hopefully if carts are allowed

 

There are spots available on the timesheet if you are looking for game

 

A number of players travelled down to the Kew Vets Open last Monday 27.04, It was a good day, played the Vets or shortened course, which gave some players an advantage. The overall Winner on the day was our own Kevin Miller with 45 points, Ken Lane  had 41 points to win B Grade, Norm Marchant had 37 points to take 5th in A Grade. I have attached the Results Sheet.

 

I have attached a proxy voting form for those members who will not be at golf on Tuesday when the vote is due to be taken. You can fill it in and return email it to me. Otherwise proxy voting forms will be available for early players to place in a sealed box on the front table at the club on Tuesday. It is important that you vote on this motion.
