Wauchope Men's Vets weekly update 07.09

Wauchope Men's Vets weekly update 07.09

Next Tuesday 9th September is a 2 Man Ambrose with an 8:00am shotgun start, followed by AGM, Presentation of the Championship Trophies, BBQ  lunch and daily presentation. It is important to attend the AGM, it will be as quick as possible. It is also important to attend as there may be a motion put to change the distribution of golf balls at the weekly  competitions, you can have your say and vote to whichever scenario you think is fair. There are about 4 spots available to book in if you are looking for a game on Tuesday.

The Week of Golf was a huge success, over 170 players, over the two days. While the majority of players were visitors, it brings in revenue for the club. The weather became a little threatening on Friday afternoon, but we got through it ok. Thank you to John Uncle for his dedication to ensuring the  event was successful. Also thank you to all the volunteers, (it was cold out there standing under the trees etc) and also the inside volunteers.
