2016 Wauchope Week of Golf 8th & 9th September

WAUCHOPE VISITING VETERANS TOURNAMENT
Thursday/Friday September 8/9 2016
Congratulations to Allen Cullen from Wingham and Clare Lee from Muree who were the major winners at the NSW VGA Veterans Tournament at Wauchope.
130 golfers representing 51 clubs from Queensland to Tasmania, enjoyed two days of golf in interesting weather on the beautiful but testing Wauchope Golf Course at the beginning of September.
Others came in to play one day only and a total of 144 golfers ended up participating.
Golfers and friends attended the presentation dinner on Friday evening where over $3,000 worth of vouchers, sponsored by Wauchope Professional, Clarke Joyce, were presented to winning golfers.
The Wauchope event on the NSW VGA calendar has traditionally been known as one of the friendliest, welcoming and best organised, and this year was no exception.
Visitors enjoyed it so much, many are loooking forward to returning in the first week of September next year, and bringing some friends with them! See you there too!
