Wauchope Men's Vets weekly update 05.04

Wauchope Men’s Veteran Golfers
Happy Easter everybody!!!
Next Tuesday 7th April the event is a Single Stableford, the sponsor is Hastings Meats (Fredo’s). Looking at the time sheets shows there are  9 spots available. The weather today should have started the drying process and I think the forecast is similar for the next 3 days, so hopefully we will get a full field for Tuesday. As soon as I know what the conditions are for Tuesday, I will send out an email, hopefully at about 7:00am or just before.

At present there are 29 members nominated for the Bill Medley Shield at Wauchope on Friday 17th April, if you are interested in playing and haven’t put your name down yet, you can return email me or the sheet will be available on Tuesday, with it closing on Tuesday 7th April.  Thank you for the response I have received, the nominations so far, it is a great result, thank you.

The Kew Country Club Vets Open Day is on Monday April 27th, I have 9 starters so far for that event, there is another week to nominate as it closes on 14th April. Return email me if you like. The cost is $25 which includes lunch, hot dog halfway around and plenty of prizes.

The Wauchope Centenary of Rail Celebrations are on Friday 10th April to Sunday 19th April. There is an exhibition at the Glasshouse, display at Wauchope Show, and a heap of other events through the week. There is a flyer in the Club. It sounds very good.
