Wauchope Men’s Veteran Golfers
Next Tuesday 12/08 is
the Bob Woodlands Memorial Day, it is a Single Stableford, the overall best
score will be presented with the Bob Woodlands Memorial Shield and have their
name engraved on it. At present there are 3 spots available on the Timesheet,
get in early if you want to play.
Important !!!
Kew Golf Club, Wal Sneddon
Shield, this event is being held on Monday 25th August,
entries close on 15th August (we have just received the
notification). We need 20 players at
least to contest the shield as it is based on the top 20 scores. We need to
finalise the sheet on Tuesday 12th , it will be available on
Tuesday to nominate, but to make it easier you can nominate by reply email to
me, this way we will have an idea of how hard we need to push it on Tuesday. The cost of the day is $15.
Tomorrow we have approx. 30 players going to Port Macquarie Golf Club to contest
the Bill Medley Shield. We are only 15 points behind Port Macquarie, so good
luck to the players selected to play for Wauchope. At this moment, I imagine
Dennis Hughes with sunvisor, in front of the computer, weaving his magic
formulae to select the team. Good selections, Dennis!
49 players travelled up the highway to Kempsey last Tuesday,
It was a good day, the results on the above of this message.
Balls and prizes that haven’t been collected will be available on Tuesday.
