Wauchope Men’s Veteran Golfers
Next Tuesday 17th March is a Single Stroke, Bi
Monthly Medal, sponsored by Ken Little Fruit and Veg, in conjunction is a
Putting competition sponsored by Al Muller and Bill Wagner and the 3rd
round of the Eclectic sponsored by Dennis Hughes and John Uncle. Looking at the
booking sheet there are 3 spots available, get in quick if you are looking for
a game.
From Tuesday 31st March the Tee times will revert
back to the Winter Timetable, that is first hit off at 8:00am. You will be
booking into 31st March next Tuesday. Also from the 31st
March the Vets Timesheets will open online at 7:00am. They will remain for the
Vets at 6:45am until then.
Forster/Tuncurry Vets are visiting Wauchope next Friday 20th
March, it is an 8:30am Shotgun Start, not 9:00am as originally advertised. Please
remind anybody you know of the change. At present there are 74 starters
made up of both Forster/Tuncurry and Wauchope players. If you would like a
game, book in through the online Timesheets. It should be a great day,
Forster/Tuncurry have about 38 starters and are travelling up by bus.
The Bill Medley Shield game nomination sheet for Wauchope on
Friday 17th April, is open. On Tuesdays it will be on the front
table at the Club, other times on the Noticeboard. If you want to nominate for
any of these games you can simply email me, and I will add your name. At
present there are about 16 names on the sheet.
Now that the Fixture Book has been launched and is
available, I have attached the following sections to this email, Wauchope Men’s
Golf Club Preamble, Wauchope Men’s Veterans Golf Club Preamble and Vets
Telephone numbers. Save these attachments to your computer, you probably don’t
require a paper copy. By doing it this way will save you (wait for it!) $2.
Tell me what you think of this method. There are a couple of mistakes in the
Vets Championships, it is still 2013 results, I will talk to Dennis about
changing them.
