TOURNAMENT

163 golfers from 55 clubs covering
the whole East Coast, Qld, Vic, Tas and NSW (of course) and
|
|
even one from across the ditch,
enjoyed two days of golf in beautiful weather on the
|
|
Wauchope Golf Course in excellent
condition at the end of August.
|
|
Others came in to play one day only
and a total of 185 golfers ended up participating.
|
|
120 golfers and friends attended the
presentation dinner on Friday evening where over $3,000
|
|
worth of vouchers, sponsored by
Wauchope Professional, Clarke Joyce, were presented to
|
|
winning golfers.
|
|
Apart from the weather, the course
condition, the fabulous food at the presentation dinner,
|
|
the friendly volunteers who did
everything except hit the balls ... (nothing seemed to be too
|
|
much trouble for them) ... one of the
highlights was a Friday Hole in One by Moruya's Peter
|
|
McGarry on the short 4th.
|
|
Visitors enjoyed it so much, many are
looking forward to returning in the first week of
|
|
September next year!
